Ghosh!!! Google Retiring

Did you hear that Google (the famous Gooooooogle) is retiring then you probably heard me right.

So by now you must be thinking whats all this about. If you are still wondering whats all this about, then read the post.








This must be appearing in you adsense account. If you are wondering why is the message in red appearing in your adsense account then continue reading.

Recently i had received a mail in from the google adsense team telling me that the Adsense Referral Programme will be retiring during the last week of august. And Know there are a lot of users using the adsense programme on their websites. All of you adsense users must have received a mail from the adsense team. and this post is for those who forget to check their e-mails.

So what if your code ends up not showing one day. As according to the adsense team they will be retiring the adsense referral only on the last week of august, so before they even retire here are a few tips for you to go through, which i had probably received from the adsense team.

"Hello,Thank you for participating in the AdSense Referrals programme. Wewill be retiring the AdSense Referrals programme during the lastweek of August. After that time, AdSense Referrals code will nolonger display ads.If you currently use referrals, either to promote Google productsor offerings from AdWords advertisers, we encourage that you takethe following steps before the product is retired:



* Remove all referral code from your site(s): Please take amoment to remove all referral code from your sites before the lastweek of August, so that you can continue to effectively monetiseyour ad space.



* Replace your referral ads with AdSense for content ads: Ifyou have less than three AdSense for content ad units on a page,we recommend replacing referral ad units with standard AFC adunits. This will minimise the risk of decreased AdSense earningswhen the Referrals programme is retired.



* Run and save all referrals reports to your desktop: AllReferrals reports will no longer be available at the end ofOctober."


So did you go through it. Well if you still have no time here are the tips.
1. Remove all referral code from site(s), and
2. Repalce your referral ads with adsense for content ads, and
3. the final thing to do is to run and save all reports in your desktop.
